It is about 2.5 miles past Beer Can Point (on the north shore).

Bob, sounds like a most excellent idea. I've paddled up to Horse Mesa Dam proper once, and boy did I get screamed at (they were ready to call the sheriff ahahahaha). They have a barrier about a mile below the dam that I ducked. There is one more really neato cove to duck into (in legal water) below the barrior.

Thanks for the video and dedication to Stella Blue....she's somewhere on a field of grass, chasing rabbits and eating all the kibble she wants!
...fo sho, Maad.
Great day on the water.
Another great video. Thanks for sharing. Where/what's that cove at the 4:30 mark? Bob W.
Thanks, Bob!
That would be 'Blue Tank Cove'!

Cool. I've never been any further than Crucifix. I'd like to get a dam-to-dam paddle @ Canyon going when the weather cools off.
