Throwing the Thumb into the mix of any Preserve ride makes it EPIC.

I've thought about climbing East End too, but always reject the thought as soon as it enters. Glad I do!

Next time try Tom's Thumb C2C2C. 104 switchbacks!Mikehttp://mtbikeaz.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4087198936111365978.post-43836377791198454132010-10-19T13:52:25.831-07:002010-10-19T13:52:25.831-07:00Yeah, if I needed to cross two thumbs up off my li...Yeah, if I needed to cross two thumbs up off my list I would head down East End and up the North.

The East End looked nasty for going down, cuz of the water ruts. I suppose this could be fun, but its gonna be pretty harsh. You need to decide which side of the rut you want your tires to be on early.

East End was ridicously fatiguing to go up, I don't think North would be quick so bad. Plus your likely to be shaded by the time th climb up North comes into play.

I would say TT, then down North to Pemby, to Windgate or Bell would be a fantastical route.u2metoohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11745996854799428738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4087198936111365978.post-5108101050751804172010-10-19T13:03:57.782-07:002010-10-19T13:03:57.782-07:00nice route, bold, good job. i've been wanting ...nice route, bold, good job. i've been wanting to do that one, but going down East End and up N.
